ATF Garage Doors wants service expectations and charges to be clear. Because garage door work often includes scheduled labor, diagnostic time, installed components and specially ordered products, eligibility for a cancellation, return, credit or refund depends on the status and terms of the specific job.
Important: Your written estimate, work order, invoice, manufacturer warranty or other signed agreement may contain job-specific terms. If a job-specific written term conflicts with this general website policy, the job-specific term will control to the extent permitted by law.
1. Appointment cancellations and rescheduling
Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. A cancellation made before travel, dispatch, diagnosis, parts procurement or on-site work begins will generally not incur a labor charge unless a disclosed scheduling, dispatch or cancellation fee applies.
If personnel have already been dispatched or have arrived, or diagnostic or other work has begun, you may be responsible for charges disclosed in the estimate, work order or scheduling communication. Missed appointments or unavailable property access may also result in a disclosed trip or scheduling charge.
2. Deposits and special-order items
Deposits may be required for new doors, custom sizes, special finishes, openers, parts or other materials. Before an order is placed, any cancellation treatment applicable to the deposit should be identified in the estimate or work order.
- A deposit may be refundable before the related order or commitment is placed, less any non-recoverable transaction cost disclosed to you.
- After an order is placed, the portion covering custom, special-order, non-returnable, shipping, permit or supplier charges may be non-refundable.
- If a supplier accepts a cancellation or return, any supplier fee, restocking fee, freight charge or return shipping cost may be deducted from the amount eligible for refund.
Custom-made or specially configured products generally cannot be returned once production has started unless defective or otherwise required by applicable law.
3. Diagnostic charges and completed labor
Charges for service calls, diagnosis, travel and labor already performed are generally not refundable once the service has been provided. Payment reflects technician time, evaluation and authorized work, even when the ultimate recommendation is replacement or additional work.
If you believe authorized labor was not performed as described, contact us promptly with the service date, address, invoice and a description of the concern. We may need a reasonable opportunity to inspect the work before determining an appropriate remedy.
4. Parts, products and installed materials
Parts and products may be eligible for return only when they are unused, uninstalled, in original condition and packaging, and accepted for return by the supplier. Return eligibility is also subject to the written estimate, invoice and manufacturer or distributor policy.
Installed electrical, electronic or mechanical components are generally not returnable as new. A defective component may instead be covered by an applicable manufacturer warranty or a written workmanship commitment. Removal, reinstallation, freight and labor are not automatically covered by a manufacturer parts warranty.
No return will be accepted for a part that has been damaged through misuse, impact, unauthorized adjustment, improper operation, environmental conditions, or work performed by another party after our service.
5. Concerns after service
If you have a concern, please stop operating the door if continued use appears unsafe and contact ATF Garage Doors promptly. Provide:
- Your name, service address and best contact information;
- The service or invoice date;
- A clear description of what is happening;
- Photos or video, if they can be taken safely and without touching moving parts.
We will review the information and, when appropriate, arrange an inspection. Depending on the facts and any applicable written warranty, a remedy may include an adjustment, repair, replacement of a covered component, account credit or refund. We do not guarantee a refund for every concern.
6. Approved refunds
When a refund is approved in writing, it will generally be issued to the original payment method when practical. Processing time depends on the payment provider and financial institution and may take approximately 5–10 business days after we submit the refund. Cash or check transactions may be refunded by business check or another agreed method.
Approved refunds may be reduced by non-refundable labor, diagnostic charges, installed or used materials, custom or special-order items, supplier charges, freight, restocking costs or other amounts identified in the relevant agreement and allowed by law.
7. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Please contact us first so we can review and attempt to resolve a billing concern. Initiating a chargeback does not cancel payment obligations for authorized services or materials. We may provide the payment processor with estimates, authorizations, service records and communications relevant to a dispute.
8. Legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law. This policy does not create a warranty or refund right beyond a written agreement or legal requirement.
